Energy Efficiency and Demand-Side Management Program Evaluation and Regulatory Support
Experience our expertise through a glimpse into our work:
- For over a decade, we’ve spearheaded impact evaluations for California’s Small and Medium Commercial Sector Energy Efficiency Programs, alongside two decades of evaluating Nonresidential Lighting Programs for the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC). These enduring studies gauge program effectiveness in fulfilling utilities’ savings goals and CPUC’s regulatory mandates.
- In a commitment spanning two decades, we’ve steered the evaluation of energy efficiency and load control efforts for Florida Power & Light (FPL). Our pivotal role as the evaluator for the 1998-2021 FPL Business Programs Evaluation encapsulates impact evaluation, market assessment, and process evaluations. This dynamic approach spans from unearthing energy efficiency potential to deciphering emerging technologies and even understanding the impact of codes and standards on FPL’s system loads. Through unwavering dedication, we’ve not only illuminated pathways to efficiency but nurtured the growth of a sustainable energy landscape for the state.
- Our presence as consultants for the CPUC has infused transformation into energy efficiency policy. Our journey encompasses comprehensive evaluations of California’s ratepayer-funded Nonresidential Custom Energy Efficiency Programs and Residential Energy Efficiency Programs, spanning years from 2011 to 2017, and more recently in 2022 and 2023. This extensive work, covering ex ante project reviews and ex post impact evaluations, accurately assesses energy savings across gross and net impacts. Beyond mere evaluation, our work has catalyzed significant policy decisions, reshaping the energy efficiency landscape of states.
And this is just a glimpse. Our expertise extends into assessing Regional Energy Networks and Community Choice Aggregator Programs, and low-income initiatives.
